| 内容記述 | 低出生体重児で出生し、脳性まひの子どもを持つ母親12名を対象に、母親の受容過程と求めるサポートについて明らかにし、家族の看護に役立てることを目的として、半構成面接を行った。結果、以下のことが明らかとなった。1)出産時の母親はショックと戸惑いがあり、医師から子どもの障がいを告知された時は二重の衝撃を受け、ショック・パニックの状態にあり、抱いていた不安が現実となったはかり知れない悲しみの状態にある。2)退院後は、父方の両親との関係悪化や地域の人の言葉や視線に過剰に反応する状態にあるが、子どもの訓練で一緒になる同病の子どもたちとその家族との交流から母親は立ち直る力を得、積極的な養育へと変化している。しかし自責の念は持ち続けている。3)夫のサポートに母親は感謝しているが、子どものきょうだいの成長過程に十分関われないことに罪悪感を抱いている。4)看護師に求めるサポートは、質の高いコミュニケーション能力を活かした母親を支える技術である。5)退院後は、人的・精神的サポートと、社会資源に関する情報提供を求めている。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Semi‑structured interviews were conducted with 12 mothers who had given birth to low‑birthweight infants and whose children had cerebral palsy, in order to examine the acceptance process and support sought, in the hope that this proves useful in nursing for families. As a result, the following outcomes were observed. 1) Mothers in shock and confusion at the time of birth received a double blow when notified by the pediatrician of their childʼs disability, experiencing shock and panic, and due perhaps to manifested anxiety, they experienced a profound state of incalculable sorrow. 2) After leaving the hospital, mothers experienced a strained relationship with the grandparents on the fatherʼs side, as well as overreactions to remarks or eye contact from surrounding persons. Interaction with other children and their families together at the same hospital for child training gave mothers the capacity to recover and shift to more active parental nurturing. However, feelings of guilt and self‑blame continued. 3) Mothers were grateful for support from fathers, but they experienced feelings of guilt that they were not adequately involved in the growth processes of the childʼs siblings. 4) Support was sought from nurses using techniques to support mothers utilizing high‑quality communication skills. 5) After leaving hospital, mothers sought physical and mental support, as well as provision regarding information relating to social resources. | |||||
