| 内容記述 | 小児看護学において、子どもに触れ合う経験の少ない学生にとって障害児の理解やその家族の理解は重要である。そこで障害児を持つ母親から体験談を聞く機会を設けた。体験談から得られた学生の学びは、障害児やその家族の理解、看護の必要性について理解できていた。また、障害児や育児に対するこれまでの思い込みを改められていた。さらに命や人生について考える機会となり、自己成長への努力の必要性についても学んでいたことが明らかになった。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | In the study of pediatric nursing, it is highly important for students, who have little or no contact with children, to gain an understanding of children with disabilities and the role of their family members. Thus an opportunity was made available by a mother of a disabled child to speak to the students about her personal experiences. From this opportunity, the students were able to learn about the importance of understanding a child with disabilities and their family as related to the nursing profession. Another outcome of listening to this speech was that some assumptions regarding children with disabilities and raising them were proven to be false. Further, it was an opportunity to ponder the value of life and our human existence. It became clear that the students also learned about the need to work hard towards their self-improvement. | |||||
