The survey period was from September 6 to September 12, 2018. This study analyzed a report produced by the hospital. Due to ethical considerations, hospitals and individuals were not identified and the results would not lead to criticism of disaster response and nursing activities.\nResults: On the day of the earthquake, “the hospital was confused due to lack of information,” and “hospital staff felt stressed.” “Information sharing,” “staffing and management,” “material placement and management,” and “disaster nursing training content” were identified as the four categories that needed attention to improve future response.\nConsiderations: Information needs to be controlled, and telephon support provided after a disaster, including guidance for staff unable to attend even if the seismic intensity is in the upper 5 range.
