An interview guide was prepared, and the subjects were asked to freely describe experiences they had, after undergoing midwife training in the master’s degree program and starting work, that strengthened or weakened their professional identity. A qualitative inductive analysis of the verbal content expressed under supervision was performed.\nResults: The subjects had from 1 year 6 months to 5 years 5 months of midwifery experience and from 1 year 6 months to 10 years of nursing experience. Based on the analysis, 417 codes, 23 subcategories, and 5 categories were extracted.
