I contacted 213 nursing vocational schools in Japan by mail, and analyzed 288 replies by teachers of maternal nursing and pediatric nursing. As a result, about 60 percent of the teachers of maternal nursing taught about multiple pregnancy and delivery. They taught: \"sterility\", \"complications of multiple pregnancies\", \"low‑birth weight infants\" and \"multi‑fetal pregnancy reduction\" in their classes. Also, about 30 percent of the teachers of maternal nursing and about 20 percent of the teachers of pediatric nursing taught about multiple childcare issues. Teachers of maternal nursing taught mainly the methodology of childcare, for example, \"measures for multiple childcare\" and \"the difference between childcare of single and multiple childcare.
