| 内容記述 | 本研究は,日常生活に障害があって,デイサービスを受けている高齢者を対象に,主観的幸福感とソーシャルサポートの関連性を明らかにすることを目的とし,調査・分析を行った。主観的幸福感については,生活満足度尺度A(LSI-A)を用いて測定し,その結果得られた生活満足度得点は,被験者が高齢であり,ADLやIADLが低下しているにも関わらず,健康者を対象にしたものに比べて低くなかった。主観的幸福感と,性,年齢,職業,学歴,居住歴,経済状態との関連性においては,主観的幸福感は年齢とともに高まっていくことが明らかになった。主観的幸福感とソーシャルサポートの関連性においては,友人・隣人とのサポートの授受において主観的幸福感が高められることが示唆された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of the research was to evaluate the levels of well-being reported by oldermembers of society living at home and to investigate the social and family supports available to them. Many older members of society face obstacles to achieving a healthy and active lifestyle and so require day services to be provided to meet these needs. This group was the target of this research. In order to investigate their subjective feelings of well-being the Life Satisfaction Index (LSI-A) tool was used. The subjects were all elderly and required substantial assistance, meaning that their ADL and IADL scores were quite low, but despite this their subjective well-being score was not substantially lower than that of healthier members of society. The researchers also assessed the relationship between subjective levels of well-being and gender, occupation, educational background, economic circumstances and residence. Analysis of this data led to the conclusion that subjective measurement of happiness increases as people age. The relationship between social support and subjective measurement of well-being can be increased by encouraging the sharing of support with friends and neighbours. | |||||
