| 内容記述 | 本研究は、実習初日に取り組んでいる学内演習の学習効果を明らかにすることである。老年看護学実習を終了した学生を対象に(1)演習終了直後の学びや気持ちの変化と(2)実習終了後に演習が実習全体にどう活かされたのかや気持ちの変化についての記述を求め分析した。演習終了直後では、【イメージすることにより広がる看護の視点】【実習への原動力】【自己学習の深まり】【実習に向けた心の準備】【対象を捉えようとする力】の5つのカテゴリーが抽出された。実習終了後では、【イメージと実際のギャップからの学び】【イメージを活用したケアの実践】【心構え・意欲】【演習経験の実習での活用】【事前学習への取り組み】【高齢者とのコミュニケーションへの活用】の6つのカテゴリーが抽出された。実習初日、病棟に行く前に受け持ち患者の状況や援助場面を具体的にイメージし実践できたことは、対象理解に留まらず、実習に向けての心の準備や原動力となったといえる。また、病棟で患者と出会い、事前に提供される限られた情報から患者をイメージすることへの限界と現実とのギャップを踏まえ、必要な情報の追加や修正をしつつ、対象理解のための能動的な学習行動への動機づけになったと考えられる。演習の成果として、演習の目標は概ね達成されたといえるが、対象である高齢患者のリアリティを高めていくなど演習環境を整える必要性が示唆され、今後の課題といえる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This study was conducted to clarify the learning effects of practical training used on the first day of a gerontological nursing practice session. We analyzed data obtained from students' writing concerning their own "change of heart" attitudes pertaining to what effect the training session had on them after completing the session. Five categories were analyzed: preparation in advance for the session, motivation and initiative to achieve the targeted goal of the practice session, deepening of self‑learning as a result of the practice session, practical care utilized by pre‑conceived images of what the practice session would entail, and learning from the gap between pre‑conceived images and practical utilization. In addition to these categorical analyses, we ascertained additional data regarding students' concrete imagined situations in aiding patients and their responsibilities towards their elderly patients prior to the first practice session. How well the students achieved their target goals from the session and what was the driving force behind the preparation and mind set towards the practice session. Also, based upon the gap between the reality presented by the session and the limits that were met with the patients in the ward from limited advanced information provided, was analyzed. Additions and corrections pertaining to necessary understanding of target goals of the session to improve learning behavior was also extracted. Although the result shows that the aim of the nursing practice was attained, the need for providing more detailed information of the patients to students prior to the training was suggested. | |||||
